1. Pre-Wet
Intensely pre-wet surface. Porous surfaces as well as higher surface temperatures require more intense pre-wetting. Standing water in the fresh joint should be avoided.
2. Pour On
Open the vacuum packed bag, and pour the ROMPOX® - EASY onto the surface.
3. Work In
Work it into the joints with an easy sweeping motion with a squeegee. Use water to help settle it into the joints. Do not use excessive water pressure. It begins to harden immediately after the excess water evaporates or drains away.
4. Final Cleaning
Use a soft hair broom to do a final cleaning until all residual mortar has been removed from the surface. Sweeping should be done diagonally to the joint. Do not re-use swept off material.
