Frost Resistant Drainage Mortar
Highly water permeable and frost-resistant bedding mortar suitable for up to 40 T loading capacity. Suitable for all applications including driveways, patios, walkways, pool decks and is fully compatible with radiant heat systems. Option to use as part of our system guarantee and include ROMEX 10-year warranty – RSG 10.

1. Mixing
Mix ROMPOX® - Trass Bed compound in a ratio of 1:4 with filler material (i.e. rolled grit/gravel 4–8 mm | 1⁄8” - 3⁄8”). Mixing time 3-5 minutes using a pug mill mixer or gravity mixer.
2. Add Water
Add 9-10 litres of cool, clean water per 1 x 55lb bag of Trass Bed compound until the mortar mixture is slightly shiny and can be rolled into a firm ball.
3. Apply
Dump the mixed ROMPOX® - Trass Bed compound onto the prepared water permeable sub-grade using a wheelbarrow.
4. Level
Screed the material according to the correct depth depending on expected surface loading.
5. Install Pavers
Apply ROMPOX® - Adhesion Elutriant to the backside of the pavers, place on ROMPOX® - Trass Bed and hammer into final position.
